Emily Sirkel

Emily Sirkel is a writer who is passionate about communication – especially through the written word. "I believe that words are powerful, and when used well, can be extremely influential," she writes. "Through a few dozen well-chosen words within a couple carefully crafted sentences, I have the power to inspire, move, persuade, convict, and so much more."

Emily has a bachelor’s degree from Wayland Baptist University, and a unique background that includes diverse experiences such as being a homeschooled ranch-kid in eastern Montana and a camp food service director in central Texas. Though she didn’t expect to become a writer, Emily has a talent and passion for communicating in written form and enjoys the opportunity to use that talent.

Emily is currently a part-time writer and content developer for Dan Nielsen, an inspirational speaker and author. She is privileged to have co-authored two books with Dan, "Presidential Leadership," (2013), and "Be An Inspirational Leader," (2017).

In addition to her work with Dan, when she has time Emily pursues her own writing interests. But her "real," full-time job is being a mom to her two beautiful little girls, Adelade and Eleanor. In addition to writing projects, diaper changes, hide-and-seek, and tea parties with imaginary dragons, Emily also volunteers as a Sunday School teacher and serves in various ways while living full-time on the mission field with her husband and daughters. Emily and her family live and serve in Trujillo, Honduras.
