Tommie Wendall

Tommie Wendall is no stranger to the Western genre. She has studied the history and lore of the American West since childhood. Drawing from the real-life characters she has met and known while working throughout the West and Midwest, Wendall strives to bring to life characters and stories which readers can relate to, learn from and enjoy as an escape.

While Wendall’s writing career is fresh, her working career is long and varied. She served 14 years as a park ranger, 10 years as a firefighter, and currently works in Emergency Medical Services for a rural community.

Wendall spends her spare time writing, spending quality time with her pets as well as working on and driving the fleet of classic vehicles she shares with her significant other.
