I didn't know that I was an author until my daughter (Roseanna) was born in December 2015. It was one night during her first 2 weeks on earth that her mum and I were awake and nursing her in bed.
Having spent a few weeks reading children's books in preparation for becoming a father, I decided to try and write my own in the notes section on my phone. A Teddy Bear that was knitted by my mum lay on the bed and so Ted's Bike Ride was born.
My debut picture book, Ted’s Bike Ride, is a Rhyming Children's Picture Book that takes children on a playful adventure through the countryside and introduces them to animal sounds, phonics, and early reading skills in a way that feels natural and fun. Parents and teachers love its blend of interactive learning and colourful illustrations, making it a favourite for toddlers and preschoolers.
Following its success, I have released my second book, Santa’s Secret Gift, a heartwarming Christmas story that celebrates kindness, generosity, and the quiet wonder of the holiday season. Filled with festive charm and a touch of magic, it has quickly become a cherished addition to family traditions and holiday storytimes.
Whether writing about farm animals, festive surprises, or the everyday joys of childhood, I aim to create books that children want to read again and again — stories filled with bright characters, gentle lessons, and the excitement of discovery. My work is inspired by the belief that every book a child loves becomes part of their world, shaping imagination, language, and confidence.
I will continue to write new stories, each crafted to delight young readers and the grown-ups who share books with them and hope that these books bring families together, spark cozy reading moments, and inspire smiles on every page.
