June He

June He is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, author and professor currently residing in New Jersey. Her work investigates and critiques issues at the intersections of nature, humanity, culture and design. Her interdisciplinary approach traverses art, design, publication and education.

June has been an active artist and designer for more than twelve years. Her work has been exhibited in numerous venues including Rockefeller Center, NY; Barrett Art Center, NY; Arts Mid-Hudson Gallery, NY; Queen City 15 Fine Art Gallery, NY; Monmouth Museum, NJ; Vision Expo West, Las Vegas, NV; SILMO, Paris, France; MIDO, Milan, Italy; Krannert Art Museum, IL; and Illinois Union Art Gallery, IL.

June has published creative works of writings in different genres includes children’s picture book Kaia and Tutu’s Journey to the World (2019), fiction book Lonely Manhattan (2016); collection of essays and poems From China to America (2013); and articles on newspapers and magazines across the globe.

June hosts workshops and lectures in universities, schools and libraries, including 2020 Storytelling and Drawing Workshop, New York Public Library; 2019 Storytelling and Drawing Workshop, Queens Public Library; 2017 Chinese Author Talk Series Lonely Manhattan, New York public library; 2015 Mentor for teen design fair, Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, NYC; 2010 Art & Design Lecture, Jiangnan University, China; 2007-2009 Art & Design Graduate teaching assistant, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

June holds an M.F.A. in Art & Design from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is the executive director of The New York Association of Chinese Women Writers.

絹窗小雨，英文名June He，江蘇蘇州人，旅美藝術家、設計師、作家、教授。北美中文作家協會、紐約華文女作家協會和海外華文女作家協會會員。她著有長篇小說《孤島曼哈頓》、中英雙語繪本《卡婭和圖圖歷險記》等。散文作品收於《2018北美中文作家作品選》、《紐約芳菲》、《新州週報》、《世界日報》、《漢新》月刊、《財賦生活》、《姑蘇晚報》等，並獲得國內外多種文學獎項如漢新文學獎和華美族移民文學獎。她對於藝術和創作的熱愛，來源於對生活的好奇心和對自然的眷戀。

她在紐約等地從事設計和藝術十多年。她的藝術作品展出在紐約洛克菲勒中心、紐約哈德遜藝術家協會畫廊、紐約皇後城15畫廊、新澤西州蒙茅斯博物館、紐約巴雷特藝術中心、伊利諾伊州聯合畫廊等機構。她的設計作品被紐約施華洛維奇設計中心收藏、被Jennifer Lopez、奧普拉（Oprah）以及世界小姐等名人穿戴，並展銷於米蘭、巴黎等時尚之都。
