Rob was born on 5th June 1970 in Chelmsford Essex, the youngest of 2children. At age six months the family moved to Loose in Kent and this is where he remained until he married. Growing up he attended Loose Primary School and The Cornwallis Secondary, before furthering his education at the Mid Kent College.
After a successful work experience placement, he decided on a career in Banking and spent 13 years working for Nationwide Building Society, Alliance & Leicester and Lloyds TSB. He married in 1994 and moved to the Medway Area. Sometime at the end of his time at Alliance & Leicester he had an idea, which led to him writing ‘Anything is Possible.’
By 2002 Rob and his wife had 2 young children and the demands of the job at Lloyds TSB required long working hours which led to frustration at the lack of time spent with them. He felt he was missing out on them growing up so he left banking altogether and started working nights on the London Underground, where he has remained ever since.
