Andrea Scott

Andrea Scott is an award-winning bilingual (English/Spanish) author and Education Specialist. She was born and raised in one of the most vulnerable neighborhoods in the northern city of St. Louis, Missouri. Education has always been a very important factor in her life, and in many ways, it saved her. Ms. Scott had a dream to find a way to save others by providing them with accessible and affordable education opportunities. Ms. Scott created a bilingual tutoring program, Smile Big Dream Bigger LLC, to provide affordable and accessible education opportunities for the youth. She has also self-published several bilingual books (Smile Big Dream Bigger, The Bigger the Fro the More I know, and No Limit to Greatness, and several academic workbooks) to help people become excited about reading.

Ms. Scott also has recently started a nonprofit organization called Teach Me, Black & Brown, to decrease the academic literacy gap of black and brown students, by making literacy accessible and engaging for all members of the family.
