Avid reader, lover of music and history buff. While living in Providence, RI. I was exposed to a great collective art scene that was blossoming while the city was undergoing a Renaissance at the turn of the 21st century.There, I found my passion for the French Impressionist era of Paris and have independently studied the subject for fifteen years. I have written a number of short stories based around the paintings of Manet, Renoir, and Toulouse Lautrec.

My love of Jazz led me to New Orleans a decade ago. The rich culture and history is a deep well from which to draw creativity. I have used my love for history,Impressionism, jazz to create a story that binds them all together. Having wished I could have seen the cabarets of Paris and the mansions along Basin St. in Storyville, I decided to make the journey the only way I could: through the power of writing.
