Brigitte Kaindl

I live good married as mother of two adult children in Vienna, my beautiful hometown. I am an author, musician, and audiobook narrator. I love life, people, and nature. Traveling, theater, books and singing in a gospel choir makes me happy.

In my novels I explore the fragility but also the strength of the human soul, looking at so many different sides of being human and weaving the fates of my protagonists into dramatic stories full of surprises.

Due to the sensitive subject matter, I chose the pseudonym “Brenda Leb” for my autobiographies “Mein Weg aus dem Fegefeuer” (My Way Out of Purgatory) and “Die zwei Wölfe” (The Two Wolves). Why do I list Brenda as a co-author in my books? Because without Brenda, I would never have become a novelist.
