Which of these careers or activities do you think Scott Ritter actually had or participated in: door-to-door salesman, radio personality, graphic designer, repairman, electronic engineer, computer programmer, business manager, aerial freestyle skier, or screen printer? If you answered ‘all of the above’ you would have the short list covered.
A frequent traveler and a believer that learning is a life-long activity, Scott is equally at home soldering a circuit board, wandering the Smithsonian, barreling down a mountain on skis, hiking through Yellowstone, or climbing Machu Picchu. He believes that there is nothing a person cannot achieve if they only commit to doing it, and so far, the only thing he has found that he absolutely cannot do is to sit still.
Besides writing, Scott manages two corporations: a software company and a company that organizes trade shows. A typical day might have him programming, operating a printing press, or hosting a meeting for himself and three-thousand of his closest friends. Oh – and of that list of professions at the beginning? We forgot to mention that Scott also teaches Tae Kwon Do in a traditional-curriculum gym, certified by the Kukkiwon in Seoul, South Korea. He holds a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and earned a first degree black belt in Hapkido while he was at the Backyrong – also in Seoul.
