Judi Folmsbee

Hello!

Judi Folmsbee taught elementary school for twenty-five years. She dreamed of writing children's books. That dream came true in 2013 when her first full-color, hardback edition of Bubba the Busy Beaver was released . Bubba is a story about a young beaver who never gives up. Her second book, Preposterous Pebbles, is about a Rottweiler who reminds us how important it is to be ourselves.

In addition to children's books and articles in booklets and newspapers, her work has been published in anthologies such as: Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Tough Times; Fighting Fear: Winning the War at Home; Christmas Faith & Fun; Christmas Presence; and Christmas by Delmarva Christian Writers' Fellowship. Judi visits schools to read and share activities in the classroom as well as school-wide assemblies, and serves as a workshop presenter for the Read Aloud Delaware Conference. She is an active member of Delmarva Christian Writers' Fellowship and on the board of the Vine and Vessels Christian Writers' Conference planning committee.

In her spare time, she loves to play with Champy, her pit-mix dog. Judi is delighted to be with her two grown children, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren when they come to town. She cherishes times going to lunch, shopping, or to the beach with friends.
