Dawn Maloney is a wife, mom and grandma with the cutest grandkids ever!

I started drawing this coloring book as a way to relax after a long day at work. The pen and paper by my chair and the flow of lines ...sometimes with no idea in mind... just drawing to see where it would take me. Many people color for the same reason -- to relax.

I have loved art for as long as I can remember. I love doing projects with the grandkids as I did with my own children when they were small. I have worked full time as a banker for 30 years but have fit in art classes and painting time on time off, vacations and weekends. I enjoy all types of art, but have landed mostly in painting and drawing. Watercolor, pastels and pen and ink have been my media of choice in the last 10 years or so.

As my drawings were piling up I copied a few for some friends to color and my son suggested we publish them in a book! "Yeah right!" was probably my response! But look! Here we are ...a published book.
