Mello Ayo is a writer, poet, and artist. His previously self-published work, Love Rhapsodies and Blues was published in September 2001. Keen on creating enduring masterpieces, Mello’s creative works and words are dedicated to inspire and uplift and to affirm beauty and strength. Unconventional in his style and approach, Mello writes with a creative independence that reflects freedom of spirit, courage, and boldness, each phrase provocative, each stroke purposeful, each word infused with dignity and meaning. Inspired by the works of the mystic poets Rumi and Gibran, and the works of Langston Hughes, James Baldwin and Maya Angelou, Mello is also a performance poet.
