Henry Kitapace lives on the edge of the beautiful English Peak District and is the father of three children. As the children were growing up part of the nightly routine was to either read a chapter or two from a book or, alternatively, to make up his own stories which he would build on over the course of several nights.
As a surprise for his youngest daughter’s 16th birthday he decided to try to write down one of the tales and get it printed as an actual short story for her to keep.
Henry found that he really enjoyed writing and as the book was passed around family and friends several people suggested that he should try to publish it to see if there was any wider appeal, leading to Detective Sophie’s First Case being published in early 2017.
Aside from writing Henry enjoys reading, of course, the outdoors and anything that catches his imagination really. Henry’s main career, up until now, has been in the IT industry where he and his wife ran their own successful business developing web sites, business software and mobile apps.
