Dinah Smith

I am 51 years old and have been telling stories for years. I had a hard childhood and loved every moment of it. Each experience I had was just another story for me to tell. I remember my mother reading to us by candle light because we had no electric. I enjoyed the sound of her voice and the way she would make the stories come to life.

I tried to read but I found it difficult until I was 30 and found out that I had not learned to read properly and that I had a learning difficulty and after getting help through our local college I then learn and have enjoyed many books.

My children said that they have always enjoyed my telling stories and wanted to know if I would write a book. This is not the book they wanted me to write but it is the one that came out. I wanted it to be something young teens could read and be read to. Other stories are in the works.

I also love to paint and I am not the best at it but I work on it every day. I also enjoy my gardens in the spring and summer. mostly I spend my free time playing and telling stories to my grandson C3.
