Kevin Cornell Johnson

I'm a simple man with a rather complex vision of where I grew up. I am an actor, singer, and songwriter and I'm also a lonesome poet, which some might say is just a song with no music. I grew up in the vast cornfields in the small town of Hurlock Maryland. As a child I would play outside with all my friends and family just like most kids, only I would often allow my mind to wander off into the clouds. I wondered what it would be like if I were a superhero or a super villain and if so what kinds of powers would I have. Could I fly high above the cloud's, could I summon bolts of lightning to blast my opponents? Would I have the ability to manipulate the elements to do as my will commanded? The possibilities were seemingly endless, so I began drawing them out in a series of shorts, little comic books that my sister and I would create together to pass the time. Sometimes she would write, and I would illustrate, and sometimes we would switch, those truly were some of the best times of my life.

One day when I went back home to visit with my family after being away for what seemed like forever. I found myself sitting in my shed looking through all of my old childhood thing's, and I found an old notebook at the bottom of my storage bin. I opened it and much to my surprise I found one of the last comics my sister and I ever drew and wrote together. I found more notebooks the longer I sat out in that shed until I found one particular one, The Element Saga.

I brought that notebook home with me, and I couldn't put it down and after many months of the, should I or shouldn't I, followed by the year of what if's did I decide to start penning my first novel. In just over three years my comic book came to life and grew into four novels. I have officially got the writer's bug, and I can't stop now.
