Duke Speed has provided training and consulting solutions to government, defense, public safety and private sector organizations for more than 40 years.
Duke’s professional career includes 30 years of U.S. federal government service divided between the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), U.S. Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the U.S. Marine Corps reconnaissance and special operations community (1979-1999 retired). In addition to federal service employment, he has served as an independent contractor for the U.S. Department of State Worldwide Protective Services (WPS), Federal Emergency Management Agency during the Katrina and Rita disasters, and the U.S. Navy Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Training Program.
Duke has a Bachelor of Science (Magna Cum Laude) in Criminal Justice from National University. He is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute and a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from ASIS International. He serves as a member of the ASIS International Executive Protection Council and is a member of the U.S. Department of State Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) and the International Security Driver Association (ISDA).
