Neta Vaught

Neta Vaught, a native Washingtonian, Community Health Worker, Entrepreneur and Motivational Speaker who has a passion for people and a heart for serving others. As the founder of a social enterprise company, Reconnecting Our Communities LLC”, is on mission to a support system and encourage women to break the silence of their pain, find refuge and strength among a sisterhood of survivors.

With a tenacious spirit, she advocates on the behalf of her community to increase awareness surrounding public health issues and breaking down health disparity barriers. Her 13 years of experience in the healthcare industry and 5 years serving residents with chronic illnesses in underserved areas, has equipped her to challenge many more of the health concerns that continue to plague her community.

Neta Vaught’s life, like many others, has been far from easy. She experienced much trauma such as growing up fatherless, surviving molestation, and verbal, and physical abuse in relationships. After suffering a stroke at age 33, diabetes, depression, anxiety disorders, and suicide attempts she knew something had to change! It was during these times that her strength grew, her dependence on God increased, and her vision was birthed.

Neta Vaught has dedicated her life to support those in need and encourage the weak using social media platforms to spark hope filled conversations, speak positivity through live steamed video’s, and post inspirational messages, prayers, and quotes.

Currently she is a certified Community Health worker in District of Columbia and has pursued her certification in Life Coaching. Neta has currently started a movement called The Healing Zone that will help others create a zone of their desires despite their past or present circumstances. The Healing Zone includes a Journal that has been published on amazon. When Neta is not working you can find her reading, writing and spending quality time her children and family.
