Simene' Walden

Simene’ N. Walden is currently a resident of Laurel, MD. She was born in Hertford County and raised in Northampton County, North Carolina where she was educated in the Northampton County Public Schools. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Literature in 2004 from Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, NC. Ten years later in mid-October, Simene’ received a Master’s of Arts Degree in Christian Studies with an Emphasis on Youth Ministry from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.

Her childhood was that of an extensive longing for acceptance and belonging. That void led her to fall hard into sin. Perversion, all kinds of sexual sins, idolatry, addictions, disobedience, manipulation, rejection, abandonment, and rebellion were just a few of the sins that manifested themselves throughout her life.

In her late twenties, Simene’ made a conscious decision to give her life to Christ and live for a higher calling. Even after salvation, there were struggles and strongholds that she had to be delivered from.

She attends Temple of Praise International Ministries in Beltsville, Maryland under the leadership of Apostle Nike Wilheims. Under her leadership, Simene’ has experienced many breakthroughs and many of the prayers and prophecies spoken into her life by her Apostle, have now come to pass. She received her foundational teachings from University City Church in Charlotte, NC under the leadership of Pastors Dr. Michael and Sharon Stevens. Her spiritual mother is Evangelist Rita Bowman who is equipping her weekly through her Spiritual Warfare Training Classes.

Simene’ is an intercessory for her family, her church, and now the educational system. After being mentored and coached by Stacey Joseph Harris, the Disciples of Christ Movement was birthed. The DCC Movement has started to spread throughout the Washington, DC area of Union Station. You can often find Simene’ there encouraging hopeless and/or homeless individuals with a team of believers God has called together for such a time as this.

Simene’ loves to read books on prayers, healing, deliverance, family, and relationships. She enjoys relaxing, surfing the web, and hanging out with her friends. Her favorite drink is sweet tea and orange juice.

Her passion and zeal for the children she has taught and currently teach has shifted her strength and energy to this now and next generation. She host an Educational Prayer call for the educational system every Sunday night and she does live educational prayers during the week on her facebook and periscope pages. The prayer calls and her personal prayers have been penned with the help of the Holy Spirit and now they will be released to the world.
