Dene Gainey

I have 17 years of classroom teaching experience, working with a diverse group of students during that time. I currently serve as the ELA teacher in the middle grades. My writing reflects my experiences both in and out of the classroom, as it pertains to the field of education. My educational passions include the student-driven classroom, diversity, and community as well as innovation and authenticity, to include student empowerment and the C.L.I.M.B.E. philosophy.

I attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL for my baccalaureate degree in elementary education K-6. I have a Masters of Education degree in Instructional Technology from American Intercontinental University. I am currently a doctoral student at NSU. I continue to capture my experiences as an educator in written form. Thanks for reading.
