The author lives a quiet life with his wife and three dogs in a sleepy, leafy suburb of Chicago. His creative persona is now in its third recognizable incarnation, following the drawing, painting and sculpting that occupied him until his graduation from a small but well regarded liberal arts college on the east coast, succeeded hard by thirty-five years behind various cameras (see seanparksphotography.com). His current preoccupation with the quill and parchment is simply a return to the means of expression a struggling young bohemian suspected might be his most natural, set aside then to satisfy the exigencies of survival, revisited now with the benefit of some experience and perhaps a little wisdom, though not without the pressing awareness that time is not, as they say, what it used to be.
