DEAR READERS/NEW FRIENDS
I have been many things to this world and to many people. These days, I like to think of myself, first and foremost, as a writer. A mad lover of words and the power they wield over us. But I am also a painter who obsesses over the collision of colors and soothing comfort that only art can bring. I am a detective forever in desperate search for the truth and justice for those who have been harmed or unable to defend themselves. I am an observer of human behavior and enjoy listening to people tell their stories. I am a fearless traveler who has no quarrel with death and is willing to risk whatever must be sacrificed to capture a thrill.
But despite all these lofty descriptions of who I am, I’m just another aimless young man who’s constantly battered by an awful love-hate relationship with this world and its’ inhabitants. Sometimes, I’m weak: I drink too much, I lust too much, I fight too much, I risk too much. But I never hesitate to protect and guide those who I feel require me. I inspire when I can using wisdom I’ve gained from making the wrong decisions.
For all the darkness and mystery I shroud myself in, I’m just a man. No more, no less. Just a simple man living in a simple cottage.
Thank you for supporting this strange little indie artist!
Love, B.B.
