Krystian Leonard

Krystian Leonard was born in Clovis NM on September 12, 1996. After her father left the US Air Force the family moved to West Virginia while Krystian was in her infancy. Krystian graduated in Broadcast Journalism from West Virginia University. Krystian became a published author with her children's book, Shining Scars at 16 and won the Mom's Choice Silver Award, in addition to founding her nonprofit Shining SCARS, where she serves as President, dedicated to social change for stigmas related to all scars. Speaking out and sharing her personal painful experience with bullying and taunts because of her own scars, Krystian has reached thousands of children and teens with her message to embrace your inner star and shine bright.
