Brenda J. Sullivan

Brenda J. Sullivan is an herbalist, author, and educator with decades of experience teaching gardening and herbalism to adults and children. She is the founder of The New England Herbary, where she shares herbal wisdom, seasonal living practices, and garden-based education through her podcast, workshops, and online community.

Brenda is the author and co-author of ten books, seven of which were created with her daughter, Kathryn A. Sullivan, in loving memory. Together they produced a collection of children's activity books filled with Katie's original artwork — including early readers, coloring books, and garden journals. Their shared love of nature, painting, and storytelling lives on in every page.

Brenda believes that the best classroom has always been the garden. When she's not writing or teaching, you'll find her planning her next growing season, studying the stars, or dreaming up new ways to help women live in rhythm with the seasons.
