Stephen Brazzel

Stephen Brazzel was born in West Texas and grew up in Abilene. While attending the University of Texas in Austin he began his ministry career as a youth minister in a small Baptist church where he earned $300 for the summer. He then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth and after graduating began his first pastorate at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Spring, Tx. His wife, Julie, and two daughters, Holley and Courtney have called Spring, Texas home since 1992.

His first book began as a personal study of the Christian doctrine of identity and morphed from a book of sermons to a devotional book. Steve's passion is the church on mission. Since 2013 he has been involved with Exposed to Christ Ministries helping churches connect to mission opportunities around the world. He has had the privilege of sharing the gospel on four different continents.
