Chris Ashley

I am a father of 5 children and married to the love of my life. I am a Program Manager in Healthcare in the Province of Manitoba in Canada. By day, I create and implement standardized systems and processes across hospitals to make the patient experience safer, better and faster. When I am not improving healthcare I can be found writing or traveling. Those are two of my passions. I love to experience life through travel. Seeing how others live is fascinating for me, even a mundane thing like grocery shopping in another country is interesting to me because you see so many new products and styles of selling you don't see in North America. Opens your eyes to different ways of living.

I also love a good action, adventure story. Some of my influences have been Tom Clancy, Stephen Coonts and Dale Brown. I grew up in a military family spending most of my early life on a military base so I have a great love for the military especially from stories told by my Dad. I am also inspired by my friends and a lot of that is apparent in my latest novel Deadly Sea.
