Shoshana Stopek

Shoshana Stopek is a children’s book author who writes stories filled with heart, humor, and curiosity. Her picture books invite kids to laugh, grow, and feel good about who they are.

Her children’s titles include the social-emotional learning picture books Sometimes Cows Wear Polka Dots, Hammock for Two, Out-of-Control Rhino, and Heads Up!, as well as Yummy World: Sweeter with Friends, and All Charged Up!: A Day of Good Device Care, recommended by School Library Journal. In addition to books for kids, Shoshana has written pop culture titles for all ages, including the fan-favorite Friendsgiving: The Official Guide to Hosting, Roasting, and Celebrating with Friends, inspired by the hit television series FRIENDS.

Shoshana earned a BA in English from Lafayette College and an MFA in Screenwriting from Boston University. She lives in Los Angeles with her partner and teenage daughter, who is much cooler than she is.
