Harry Holmes

"Harry Holmes was born in Nashville. As a child, he loved scouting, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in 1959, and hiking along the Cumberland Plateau in Eastern Tennessee.

In 1962, after graduating from Huguenot High School in Richmond Virginia, Harry joined the United States Navy. After completing his tour of duty, he reentered civilian life as a Forensic Specialist for the Virginia Beach Police Department, from which he retired after forty-one years of service. He and his wife Carol live in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Harry is an avid bird watcher, photographer, and cook, as well as a member of Writers World and Hampton Roads Writers."
