C.R. Griffin

C.R. Griffin (Cora Rose) grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. She has traveled to a few other countries and a few other U.S. states, but currently calls Oregon home. (Australia & Canada just aren't ready for her yet.)

Cora has a degree in accounting, and finds that most people react with "oh, hmmm" to her profession, because they don't know what to say about something so mind-numbing. From her perspective, anyone who can take the randomness of an operations team, add some common sense, mix in a lot of numbers, and present a meaningful story to an executive team, is a creative and wonderful magician.

As a magician, Cora finds stories in everything. "There is color to all things, we just have to squint a little sometimes." Using her powers for good, Cora set out to write her first book in the fall of 2013. On December 30, 2016, it was finally ready for publishing. Cora is now working on the sequel to The Calling Stone - Away. The Calling Stone - Lost is well under way and with a some luck, a lot of time, great friends, and a great editor, it should be ready to publish in very early 2019.
