Francesco Grasso was born in Messina (Sicily) in 1966.
His first science-fiction novel, “Ai due lati del muro”, won the Urania-Mondadori Award in 1991. He again won the Urania Award in 2000 with the novel “2038: la rivolta”. Then he wrote historical novels, thriller, horror, humorous novels and short stories.
He won many italian literary awards, such as Premio Space Truckers, Premio Cristalli Sognanti, Premio Cittą di Ciampino, Premio Camuni Graffiti, Premio Scriviamo Insieme and others. He also wrote movie scripts.
His historical novel about Archimedes of Syracuse was translated and published in english (title: THE MATHEMATICIAN WHO CHALLENGED ROME).
At the moment he lives in Roma.
