Arlene Garrett

Arlene was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. She was the youngest of her two siblings, one sister and one brother. She married and is the proud mother of one daughter, Sharon Shabinaw (and co-author of "Signs From God") and one son, Steven Dailey. Going through a very difficult divorce from this union, she suffered for five years through a nervous breakdown from 1976-1980 when she was miraculously healed.

It has been her desire through many spiritual encounters since her healing to share her story and testimony of how God did what the doctors could not do to save her. Her testimony is shared in their first book together "Signs From God" and she is currently working on their next book, "A Mountain to Climb", which will go into great detail what led up to her breakdown and between the dash of that healing that took place many years ago. This book will be from her perspective, as the patient going through this horrible nightmare with flashbacks from her daughter, who was in a vulnerable time in her life and needed her mother the most.

Arlene believes that "everything happens for a reason", and her suffering was not in vain. She feels that God has a plan for her to share and spread the word of hope and belief that you are never alone, even in the darkest of times.
