Nance Newman

I live in upstate New York with my two rescue dogs. Misty was a breeding dog for 7 years in a puppy mill. Onie is from Puerto Rico. Personality abounds in these two as they find their way into each other’s hearts. But they have already found their way into mine and I thank them every day with lots of love, treats, play and walks I also partake in several hobbies that include biking, gardening, hiking, kayaking and watching movies (lots of them and all kinds), Traveling (I’m a big Disney and Universal fan) is another of my favorite pastimes and I’ve had many opportunities throughout my lifetime to explore many wonderful places.

I also love music. I write songs and perform now and then with Dooley (my music partner), enjoy Karaoke, and I’m learning to play the piano

I have been writing in some form or other since high school when I bought my first guitar (a 12 string from a magazine) and began writing songs. In college, I started my first novel that I hope to go back to and finish someday. I love the mind’s imagination and creative processes, where one of my greatest pleasures comes from--writing. It’s so rewarding to create characters and their stories, but even more so to share them with my readers.
