Cary Krosinsky is a leading educator, author and advisor on sustainable finance; his 7th book, Modern China, Financial Cooperation for Solving Sustainability Challenges is out April 2020.
His previous books date back to the popular Sustainable Investing: The Art of Long Term Performance in 2008 with Nick Robins.
His ongoing teaching includes at Brown University on the Theory & Practice of Sustainable Investing, supporting the creation of the Brown Endowment's Sustainable Investment Fund, as well as Energy Studies and Impact Seminars at Yale and various projects and teachings at NYU among other global academic institutions.
He is also Co-founder and Director of Real Impact Tracker, the Carbon Tracker Initiative and its parent Investor Watch, Sustainability Advisor, DeepGreen Metals and Principal, NPV Associates and was a Member of the NYS Common Retirement Fund Decarbonization Advisory Panel appointed by Governor Cuomo and Comptroller DiNapoli, 2018-19 which informed their subsequent Climate Action Plan.
His previous and ongoing advisory work includes acting as Lead Consultant to the 2015 PRI Climate Change Asset Owner Strategy Working Group resulting in a comprehensive Climate Change Asset Owner Strategy Framework released during COP 21, as well as writing papers on the Value of Everything for the UNEP Inquiry into the Design of a Sustainable Financial System. He also helped with the creation of the Principles of Responsible Investment (PRI) in 2005 after previous careers in technology and big data include building the world's first global institutional ownership database and related analytics for Bloomberg.
