Marcia A Dixon

Marcia Dixon is a Registered Nurse whose career started in 1978 to present. She has a wealth of experience having worked in medicine, surgery, emergency room, intensive care, radiation oncology, behavioral health (for which she is certified) and the residential program for clients with intellectual disabilities. She is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

She became a published author in 2006 with the Mental Health Word Search Puzzle Book. This was achieved through her earnest desire to find a way to decrease the frequent rehospitalization of clients. Realizing the repetitive act of searching for words in a puzzle reinforces the information, she used this method in her teaching sessions. This principle, she recognized, could be applied to any subject and gave birth to her Puzzle Book Series.

She is a Christian who believes God’s love is unconditional. He wants us to love Him and to love our neighbor as ourselves. It is not surprising that her second book, My Word Search Book of Biblical Principles and Events, was written through divine inspiration.

Besides her love for God, she believes family matters most and has their full support in her endeavors. This is followed by giving to those in need and making the most of life’s opportunities.
