In addition to Forty Days: On the Mountaintop, Halfway Up, and From Behind the Golden Calf, I am the author of Cross Road: A Journey from Sex to Sanity. I am also a freelance turf writer (writer focusing on horse racing) for a British magazine, Gallop; a European/North American magazine, Trainer; and I cover the Kentucky Derby annually for Kentucky Monthly magazine.
