Carole H Van Kleef

This memoir is based on the authors life from childhood to her mid-forties. She was encouraged by a friend to write her story. While following through with the suggestion, she found healing along the way.

Revealing her past was a huge step, considering she lives in a small community in South Georgia. Hoping to help those that struggle with addictions, poor choices, shame, and regrets, she moved forward to share her secrets from her past.

She intertwined insight from Got Questions.Org, where she found thought provoking solutions to life’s constant struggles with sin. She uses scriptures throughout the book where her life hit pivotal points. Written with hopes the reader finds an eye-opening experience, just as she did. This roller coaster life of ups and downs, proves God’s grace never fails.

You will read about the list she made in hopes of not settling for anything but God’s best for her life, and when she met the man that finally checked everything off. Although looking back she can see much spiritual immaturity, it is also a reminder of realizing that everyone's walk is different, and God is long-suffering for the sake of the elect.

She is a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a me-me, a teacher, and a friend to many.

Her family is active in serving at their local church in Echols County, Georgia (Enoch Creek Church). Living a transparent life, while teaching Sunday school for adults, she loves to motivate them to pursue God’s will, make goals, and remember that “It is not about what you know, but what you do with what you know that matter!” Having small gatherings in her home on occasions, she loves to use her home for a place of worship.

She is in the process of writing her next book which will be a devotional full of her short stories that is tied to a question to encourage a thought for the day, and a scripture that goes along with the story.
