Emanuela Fernandes

Emanuela Fernandes is a Toronto-based writer and a culinary journalist who spent most of her career writing about aphrodisiac foods and sensuality. She has done many television appearances on national as well as local television channels after graduating with honours from the journalism program of the accredited University of Guelph-Humber in Toronto. She has contributed her work to several publications, including Playboy.com.

Fernandes spent years searching for sensual adventures through food and has cooked with some of the most talented chefs and passionate home cooks in Toronto. She documented their stories and turned their recipes into sensual, captivating time capsules, inspiring thousands of readers and viewers to begin sensual culinary journeys of their own.

Her debut novel "The Stopover" was inspired by the writer's insatiable love for travel, food, and her passion for creative writing. Fernandes was born and raised in Lithuania and moved to Toronto with her family at the age of 17. She now resides in Toronto with her husband and her two-year-old daughter Sandrine.
