Misty Proffitt-Thompson

Misty Proffitt-Thompson was born in 1969 and lived most of her childhood in Arizona (with a few years in Long Beach, California). Her only sibling, sister Stephanie, was born in 1970 and died tragically in 1993 at the age of 24. The death of Stephanie changed Misty's outlook on life. When her sister died, Misty's children were very young, Brittany was 7 years old and her twins, Jacob and Joshua were 2. The struggle of working through her grief, helping her mom, taking care of her young children, working full-time as a Federal Law-Enforcement Officer, being a wife, and taking care of the household responsibilities were overwhelming to say the least.

Having spiritual contact with her sister and gaining the knowledge from her is how Misty knew that she would overcome her adversities. She didn't know how or when, but knew without a doubt things would change for her.

Fast forward +25 years, Misty is now the mother of four children, adding Tuesday in 2002, and is the grandmother of four grandchildren, Josiah, Damian, Ashton, and Caleb. She is a retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer, best-selling author, Spiritual Life Coach, Mind/Body/Spirit Practitioner, and Owner/Founder of her business, Mystified Enlightenment.

She coaches and teaches online courses to those who have sacrificed their identity for their families and career so that they can be their true self while have a greater connection to Source.
