D. M. Cuffie

Author D.M. Cuffie resides in her hometown of Columbia, MD where the main character is from and a few of her beloved locations are highlighted in her very first novel, At Least Once. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland at College Park (GO TERPS) and a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. She serves as an usher in her church, line dances throughout the DMV, actively participates with the Black Writers’ Guild of Maryland, and runs with BGR (Black Girls Run!). She absolutely loves football and her Baltimore Ravens (GO RAVENS!).

Ms. Cuffie is an avid reader, rediscovering the love a good book and experiencing complete joy when reading novels was offered as a class in college. She discovered she could tell a better story, writing emails to her friends. Her single gal shenanigans and awesome vacations provided a myriad of storylines, incorporating themes of “encouragement, accountability, and girl talk” for six novels in her While We Wait series. Her debut novel, At Least Once, won a 2016 Finalist ‘Best Book Award’ in the African-American fiction category and is the first installment in her While We Wait series.
