Babs Carryer

Babs is an entrepreneur, coach, mentor, teacher, and author. She recently retired from her position as Founding Director of the Big Idea Center for the University of Pittsburgh's Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Babs is author of the first Brie Prince book, a startup murder mystery, HD66 -- search for a cure, or a killer? Her first nonfiction book, Startup Briefs, the ultimate no-holds-barred guide to startastartup, is used to help entrepreneurs around the world. Babs lives with her husband, Tim, and their boats on the Magothy River in Maryland and beyond. The couple sets sail on Ibis, a Beneteau 373 (like the boat in this book), soon, bound for the Caribbean. Babs hopes to write more nautical mysteries based on her upcoming sailing adventures.
