Lenny gazbowski

Lenny Gazbowski was born in 1960 in Liverpool, England. His love of writing began aged 9 when he wrote short stories. At 14 he wrote his poem, a nature poem, 'Birds'. But that was it until 1979 when he once again began writing poetry inspired by Leonard Cohen and Jim Morrison. He had his poetry published in a variety of small press magazines in the 1980's, magazines including Eclipse, The White Rose and Purple Patch. He has also had his poetry read on local radio. Lenny enjoyed playing the Lord of Darkness when performing his writing at a variety of venues in the North West, yes this was his dark period ! Although he has never stopped writing poetry he disappeared off the poetry circuit up until a few years ago, he has finally published two Kindle books of his poetry, 'Poetry Four You' and 'Crack or Christ'. More will hopefully follow ! Lenny is happily married to Nikki, who encourages him to keep on writing. Without Nikki Lenny would not have persevered with his writing.
