Ciara J Lewis

Ciara J. Lewis is a writer from Connecticut. She began her passion for writing at an early age. In high school, Ciara wrote many stories ranging from drama to thrillers. At 24, Ciara wrote a play entitled 'A Day in the Life of Satan' which helped spawn her decision to pursue writing full time. Since then, Ciara has adapted several books to film, as well as writing her own short films. In the last two years, along with her sister, Nikkea Sharee, she formed the production company Kweli Legacy, LLC. Ciara serves as screenwriter, director and editor for the company where they have released two award winning short films Hostile and The Call.

Recently, Ciara returned to where she began, deciding to publish her first book. On January 8, 2017, Ciara released the short story "Pressure" which shows how two different people, at different ages, deal with the loss of family and abandonment. Ciara has plans to release at least two more short stories before 2017 is over. She is currently working on a story titled "A Perfect Lie" as well as building her career as a filmmaker.
