David A. Bly

Dave Bly has been an airplane nut since he was a kid. As a youth, he loved flying around western Pennsylvania with his dad and later, served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War with the 366th Tactical Fighter Wing. Later in life, he spent several years flying around the Seattle area as a private pilot. He now lives on Whidbey Island in Puget Sound.

Before taking up writing, Dave worked in the software industry. His first book, the Software Project Rosetta Stone was written during that period.
