G. A. Rosso

Professor G.A. "Tony" Rosso (1954-) grew up in Columbus, Ohio and graduated with a B.A. degree in English from the Ohio State University. He received an M.A. degree in English from San Francisco State in 1982 and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland in 1987. Since then, he has taught at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven. He has been a member of the American Association of University Professors, serving as an Academic Freedom Officer for many years. He has published and edited a number of books, essays, and reviews on the poetry and art of William Blake (1757-1827), including most recently 'The Religion of Empire: Political Theology in Blake's Prophetic Symbolism' (2016).
