Raymond E. Meadors Ph.D.

Raymond E. Meadors, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist (1949 - ) was born in a small Arkansas town before moving to Memphis, Tennessee for the duration of childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood. Shortly after high school, along with pursuing post-secondary educational training, he was a staff member at a major drug rehabilitation treatment facility (Teen Challenge) in Detroit, Michigan. After this tenure, Raymond was a battlefield medic in Vietnam before returning stateside and completing ministerial ordination and doctoral studies in psychology—subsequently, becoming a Licensed Psychologist.

Carol Farrington Meadors, M.A., Licensed Professional Counselor (1952 - ) was born in Orange County, California. Her stepfather worked for the Santa Fe Railroad, so much of her childhood was traveling and living throughout the Southwest from California to Arizona to New Mexico. An untimely death cut short his life when, as an inspector riding on a rail motor car, a dispatcher placed him on the wrong track. Carol and her mother moved to West Memphis, Arkansas, where six years later she met Raymond, and this was the beginning of an illustrious and ongoing romantic relationship.

Carol and Raymond married in 1972, at which time they commenced traveling worldwide conducting relational enrichment, personal empowerment, and inspirational seminars. The Meadors’ have authored numerous books and developed self-help manuals, both for the purpose of supplementing their seminar presentations. Dr. Meadors and Carol reside in Colorado, surrounded by the incomparable Rocky Mountains, and they are proud parents of three children and eight grandchildren.
