L.K. Clement is a native South Carolinian, Navy brat, and inveterate traveler. Her writing experience began on a long-gone US base in Morocco, and continued through her college years at the University of South Carolina. She spent over twenty years in sales and marketing for software companies, honing her creative writing skills.
Family stories of a Huguenot ancestor who fled Catholic France in 1685 motivated her to research the impact of these Protestants on the fledgling English colonies. This story forms the basis for the plot of her first book. Readers who enjoy Dan Brown, Steve Berry, and other authors who blend history with suspense should equally enjoy The Huguenot Thief.
