Mr Chris Statham

Chris Statham is a business consultant by day and novelist by night. The son of a British Army officer, he volunteered in rural Tanzania and subsequently, fell in love with the effervescence and immediacy of Africa, his home for the last ten years. He has lived and worked in London, Ireland, Ethiopia, Malawi, Saudi Arabia and Tanzania. Crying for Afronia is his first novel, and the first in the Afronia series.

He enjoys writing about ordinary people in extraordinary situations. His genre is faction and much of what he writes about is based on first hand experience.

He hope to have Escape from Afronia, his second novel, ready for publishing by Christmas 2016
