Steve Baker is a trainer and consultant on the prevention of abuse and neglect and protection of rights for vulnerable people. Up until his retirement in 2012, he was a leader for more than 20 years at Trinity Services, Inc., serving, among other things, as chairperson of the human rights committee and director of both High Tide Press and Cherry Hill Bookstore.
Steve became involved in the human services field with a part-time college job. Since then he has worked in and managed many aspects of public and nonprofit service provider organizations. For more than 30 years, he has continually worked to provide better lives for persons who have a disability or other major life challenge.
Steve lives in New Lenox, Illinois.
