A.K. Brown

A.K. has survived a spinal injury to become a quadriplegic at aged 16. He’s been a Uni student, a Tax Auditor, a Child Support Officer, a Trainer, a Computer Analyst and is now a Self-Published Writer.

He has travelled from the artesian street markets of Paris’ Montmartre to climbing Samoa’s lush jungles of Mt Vaea to see Robert Louis Stevenson’s tomb. He’s rafted from Guilin down the Li River in China’s Guangxi Zhuang region and spoken to an assembly of kids at the local school on mischief in a wheelchair.

A.K. now lives in a small house nestled between the leafy northern suburbs of Sydney where he writes science fiction and tip books for the disabled.

His debut Champagne Universe Series of books are a comic mixture of brain sucking aliens, space battles and troubled morally devoid geniuses. A.K.’s long stays in hospital provided him time and a real impetus to create rich and lively fantasy worlds to escape into. If you wish to know more about A.K.'s books, they can be found at his publishing business: SquidPublishing.com or AKBrown.info

One of A.K.'s favorite quotes from Dr. Seuss

“You have brains in your head you have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.” ? Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You'll Go!
