Kinnari Trivedi

I am a mom of two beautiful kids, a wife, a daughter, a sister and everything in between. I am also a Marketing & Communications professional with a BA in Communications & Media Studies from Fordham University. I was born in India but raised in the US in the NY/NJ area. While I am an East Coaster in where I was raised, I’ve always been a California girl at heart. Upon graduating from college, I pursued a career in Advertising in NYC before relocating to Los Angeles in 2006.

I am a great communicator, listener and all-around multi-tasker; all attributes that have helped me achieve great success in my career. While I love and enjoy my career greatly, my true passions have always been with health and fitness, travelling, fashion and beauty.

In times where we are BOMBARDED WITH INFORMATION, some true, some false, some with ULTERIOR AGENDA; One thing I want to make clear is I will always be HONEST with you. I want to strive to be COMPLETELY HONEST AND TRANSPARENT. I may not be ALWAYS BE right but it’s probably because I don’t know better not because I had ulterior agenda! God has given me enough to live on; I don’t want or need to to move ahead by screwing others!

We all need to be inspired. We all need that little pick-me-up when we find ourselves starting to lose motivation, our drive, our passion and rediscover that feeling of “yeah, I can do this.” I’ve found that in the form of so many people, books, podcasts, videos. This is what I want to bring to you. In a VERY REAL, HONEST, WHOLEHEARTED WAY.

In my own life, at a time when mentally and physically I felt my most unhealthiest I turned to daily, 7 days/week exercise regimen and I truly believe that has saved me. In exercise I find my happiness. Real happiness. Not just about the number on the scale, which I rarely look at anyway but my inner happiness. The confidence I feel. The energy I have. The satisfaction I get knowing I having done something good just for myself.

Being healthy, feeling healthy, eating healthy, without it feeling like a punishment, are all such simple, great things that if implemented into your regular life routine, will change your life drastically, for the better. The benefits of such a lifestyle is something I hope to instill in my own children so they know that you never have to look to the outside to find your happiness, your truth. When you are taking care of your body, nourishing your soul, you feel good, you’re happy, you’re confident and you find that YOU define your life and how you live. Not society, not magazine covers, not your peers, YOU.

My goal here is very simple. To share my personal experiences with you; my workout routines, products that I love, things that I like to eat/don’t eat, my creative vegetarian recipes, share experiences of places I travel to, etc. etc. etc. Again, sharing my life with you in the hopes that something will resonate and help change your life in some small or big way.

It’s important to note, I am not a doctor, a nutritionist, a therapist so anything I share with you here, any recommendations I make are purely based on my own personal experience with them. Before starting any new nutrition plan, workout regimen, you should always consult with your medical professional first should you have any questions or concerns.
