M.D. Newton

M. D. Newton is a retired Aerospace Engineer who has worked for such industry giants as Lockheed-Martin and General Dynamics. Over a thirty-year career, he has been intimately involved in engineering and building a diverse array of cutting edge aircraft.

As a boy, he spent Septembers immersed in the sights and sounds of WWII fighters being pushed to their limits at the National Championship Air Races in Reno, Nevada. The sound of Merlins, Allisons, and Pratt & Whitney radials took root and he has been a lifelong devotee and student of these ultimate propeller-driven aircraft.

His technical background, combined with a love of history, convinced him to write Jack of all Trades: Master of All, his first novel.
